Plant Tour, 11:30am, $5 per person You may buy tickets online or via phone. Tour takes 1 hour and distance is 1 mile. Shows GM employees building the Chevrolet Corvette and Cadillac XLR. National Corvette Museum, $8 per person ($6 with AAA member card) www.corvettemuseum.com Open 8am – 5pm. Its 68,000 sq/ft of exhibits with 75 Corvettes on display ranging from the 1953 to 2007 model years. The gift shop does not require a ticket. Mammoth Cave
National Park www.nps.gov/maca There are 13 different tours ranging from easy to moderate to difficult. The adult cost range is between $10-$48. The time duration is from 1:15–6:00. I’m going on the Grand Avenue tour which begins at 10:30 AM. The cost is $24 and it lasts 4.5 hours. All tours should be booked well in advance as they do sell out. You may book online or via phone. It remains 54 degrees inside the cave. After the tours we’ll head back to Lexington. Travel: Personal vehicle carpool.
